Technology In Education Conference

I attended the 9th annual Technology in Education Conference at LIT -Tipperary on Saturday May 11th.

The focus of this year’s conference was ‘Hearing The Student Voice. ‘ It was an excellent day with inspiring keynote speeeches from Grainne Conole and Catherine Cronin + a host of really practical workshops.

It was also attended by Minister Ciaran Cannon -who was interviewed by some of the youth media team during the day.

The conference was organised by Pamela O’ Brien and a great team from the LIT-Tipperary School.

During the past nine years Pamela has built up a great network of Technology in Education Practitioners across all sectors in Education. Therefore the conference is unique and cutting edge because it draws on cross sectoral pedagogical wisdom.

The conference is relaxed and really collegial -where participants and presenters exchange ideas and skills.

Already looking forward to the 10th annual conference in May 2014!
